Woah. Here's a thing... ever spent far too long messing around with these three numbers, trying to get your pointing device to do something predictable?Device Accel Constant Deceleration (267):1.000000Device Accel Adaptive Deceleration (268):1.000000Device Accel Velocity Scaling (269):1.000000

Apparently Velocity Scaling has a "correct" value. It's not a multiplier like you first assume (and immediately realize once you change it) when you see the world "scaling."It's meant to compensate for different devices' polling rates, and the expected value is [polling rate]/8000, and the result in my case was going from my Wacom constantly feeling "not quite right" and "kinda acceleration-y" to "this is my pencil. there are many like it but this one is mine."http://510x.se/notes/posts/Changing_mouse_acceleration_in_Debian_and_Linux_in_general/

@gordoooo_z That's interesting! I've sold my Wacom tablet😩 So I don't have anything to experiment on, but for rodents I have to set it to -0.4 in most cases to prevent cursor from jumping around like it's on crack. I'm not sure Sway has the same units as libinput, but probably should, it's called accell_speed here.

@m0xee This parameter doesn't accept a 0 or negatives. Not really sure, but glad I figured it out. Mine was also hella jumpy.

@gordoooo_z Wow, that's even more interesting! I was pretty sure, funky names aside, Sway was using the same values libinput does.
