@edbott For months now I’ve been getting daily phishing mails claiming to be from my ISP. They’re all mind-numbingly incompetent, but they just don’t give up.

@khoji I guess the cost per attempt is effectively zero so even a microscopic success rate is money in the bank.

@khoji @edbott Same here. What I don't understand is that same ISP hosts my mail, has spam filtering that catches all kinds of stuff but somehow can't seem to flag spam pretending to be from itself.However, they helpfully provide a form on their website where I can paste the email headers to validate it is a legitimate email from them.I mean their company name is always right there in the subject line and in the body, not sure why they can't just run the same check right there.
