       I am becoming more and more convinced that Twitter is a waste of time for publishers and content creators. Over the last 28 days my YouTube channel has had 671,683 views, and a mere 250 of those came from Twitter. If you want to promote your work, #Twitter is no longer the place to be.

       @anderspuck Shortly before they killed my bot, I reactivated it on a few accounts. One of them had well over 10,000 followers. The posts it was making were getting THREE views.Not three replies, or three retweets, or three likes. Three VIEWS. After 48 hours.Soooo many people have moved on.

       @anderspuck Twitter never sent much traffic my way in all the 15 years I used it. Mastodon was so much better right from the outset, even when it was a single server and a handful of people.

       @anderspuck Yeah, Twitter is still very active, but it's now pure poast.  Content-free ranting and flame.  I'm disappointed that so few of the big players have left though.  Not judging them -- it's both addictive and important for their careers.  But still unfortunate.
