Famous Fantastic Mysteries vol. 10, no. 3 (February 1949)Pretty sure Jack London didn't imagine anything as wild as a 30,000-mile-tall golden-bikini temptress relaxing on a world covered in tomato sauce, but hey, read the story and let me know.Original magazine: https://archive.org/details/Famous_Fantastic_Mysteries_v10n03_1949-02_unz.org#Magazine #MagazineCover #PulpMagazine #PulpFiction #ScienceFiction #Fantasy #Horror #Art #Illustration

@SFFMagazineCovers It's a great story, especially if you're familiar with the Bay Area. I don't recall any tomato sauce though.

@SFFMagazineCovers No, the cover has nothing to do with the Jack London story. But it is a really wonderful apocalyptic plague story...a very early one. It has all the pieces, the hubris of mankind, the population growth, and so on. Well worth reading!Gutenberg has it: https://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/21970
