       I saw that "Anti-Meta Federation Alliance" page, and part of me wants to make a really racist domain name, spin up an instance, and apply to join. Just imagine, deadnigger.photos listed alongside gender.systems and queer.groupTruly inspiring...

       @japananon The clamor around Meta EEE on the fediverse is overblown, I think. Gab allowed federation, and rather than siphoning users and instance owners from the network, the other instances ended up taking users from Gab, and they shut down federation. Meta's attempt will probably look similar.
