@stux Stux, we've been mutuals for months now so I feel comfortable saying this. Nothing Welsh said was mean. This toot of yours I'd say is initiation a potential dogpile. Also, defederating an entire server because of not liking her opinions is frankly shocking.

You suspended a whole instance, impacting hundreds of users who chose, of their own volition, to follow people on .art, because you don't like the person who runs it?That is very bad form, especially since it happened without warning for people on both sides, people who know nothing about your grudges.The proper thing to do here would be to admit fault, remove the suspension, and then inform your users about it, so they can restore their connections if they so choose.You're a big boi, don't be doing this Nathan-style fit of rage nonsense 😒

@stux that's frustrating but not surprising. When I first joined the fediverse, it was on .art because I'm an artist, made sense, eh?But I quickly found the server heavy handed, gate keepy, and way too knee-jerk reactive at defederation. I'm not fluffing your ego, but I found your moderation more balanced, fair, & with a more positive attitude, but with no tolerance for hate. I appreciate your work (and your transparency). <3

@stux If you starting throwing around accusations, you need receipts. Otherwise people will assume you're making things up.This is concerning to me both as a user and as a business associate because it currently appears as you've defederated on a whim, slept on it, and then refederated after you regretted it in the morning. You have to make your case that there was good reason to do so beyond the summary you've provided because defederation is the nuclear option

Mastadon and the fediverse is a full threat to mark and meta yet you think him joining is benign? Its. Plow you are fully going to fall into.
