       @simon that seems very simalar to lsof -p, which has been my 2am.on call debugging tool of choice when faced with the question "what the heck is this broken thing trying to do"

       @mark "sudo fs_usage" without a PID seems to show output from everything - it's very noisy, but I imagine smart usage of grep could tidy it up a bit
