       Until this year, I'd never read anything by H. G. Wells (not sure how that happened), so I've decided to read a few of his most influential and famous novels in the order of publication, staring with The Time Machine. Today, I finished reading The Island of Dr. Moreau. Thought the first half a bit of a slog.
