Catching the train into #Boston today to meet up with some of my Lesley University Creative Writing alumni this afternoon. Haven't seen some of them in over two years. I'm excited. Until this year, I'd never read anything by H. G. Wells (not sure how that happened), so I've decided to read a few of his most influential and famous novels in the order of publication, staring with The Time Machine. Today, I finished reading The Island of Dr. Moreau. Thought the first half a bit of a slog.
