Today when I got to the street about 50 metres from the bus stop I saw the bus approaching. The next one behind it was 30 min away I started flat out sprinting for it. Sadly, though, he didn't stop. But when he saw me give up he gestured as he passed - he would stop right away - my own personal stop. People love to complain about services and how terrible the people are that work for them. However, they are simply human and there are lots of good humans in the world.

@toddtyrtle A partner and I were locked in a museum once, as the lone volunteer had popped into the town centre. The two of us and another couple could see her from the glass doors, chatting away to some people down the street. Once we were freed we had to, in her parlance, "book it" to catch the bus. The driver saw us and waited patiently and we got to the Royal Horticultural Society's Rosemoor gardens in good time.
