       @nixCraft As far as I'm concerned: :qAnything with two modes where you have to memorize keyboard shortcuts (beyond those of readline) is unusable.

       @gnarkotics @nixCraft #vim and #emacs have different use cases. If you just need an editor Vim is king. If you hate leaving your editor #emacs is king (although of cause it's much easier to get out of  Emacs ;-)
