@elaine Lead has a couple of household application uses - specifically hand-loading firearm ammunition and wheel weights. That would be why there aren’t regulations on sales.

@elaine I don't think they sell cyanide on amazon but hydrochloric acid and lead have valid legitimate uses (lead is used in solder even today although it's banned in pipes and stuff and hydrochloric acid is a general purpose acid that you can find in hardware stores everywhere), so does cyanide but I believe only industrial suppliers sell that

@smitten @elaine yeah Amazon can be very sketchy specifically with supply quality of raw materials. Can’t trust that the lead is held to any purity standard, which is very important in any application that lead would be used.

@elaine Maybe you can buy compounds of cyanide (or containing cyanide) on amazon, the purer forms are probably not available.For those of you scoring at home, you can find forms of cyanide in peach pits and hydrogen cyanide (stuff that can kill instantly) in cigarette smoke.

@RuthODay i was mistaken, they only sell warning stickers and test strips for Cynaide. Which is good because that'd be one easy way to murder someone in a difficult to detect way.
