After installing Awesome for a #Linux window manager, I’ve learned just how dependent I am on a mouse or trackpad. Wow - Very eye opening! Trying to learn a few new keyboard shortcuts each day going forward. 🤞🏼

OK, as I’m getting more comfortable with Awesome WM on #Linux, I suppose this is the next logical step in my productivity transformation: #Vim! 😱

@hyde @kevinctofel I always recommend this video to new (neo)vim comers. It's been the best one to get me started while learning some advanced tricks with minimum efforts. It's basically going through vim classic tutorial but in an easy way that made you an efficient beginner user in just 1 hour. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d8XtNXutVto

@hyde @kevinctofel Right. It's what Smith trains you along in this video. I personaly found it more fun to learn while listening to him rather than following small exercises like a robot. Also, he provides a bunch of advanced keybindings that are game changer and not mentioned in the classic tuto. Having used both approaches, I've been a better (neo)vim user after watching this video and the knowledge retention was higher. Only my personal experience...
