@Jim I'm a big VR fan, I've tried a bunch of the available models. I'm not dropping $3500, but I also wouldn't have dropped the $2000 that I think would have been the smart choice. It's still too much, but it would have fallen within the fair range of the normal Apple-too-much pricing structure.Now, there's gonna be ideas and tweaks that really make it a good product to use. I'm not a big Apple person, but they are good at creature comforts and weird little focal points that nobody thought to get obsessed with. I look forward to the feedback on those kinds of tweaks making it in to the other manufacturer's product revisions.For right now, anyone looking to get into VR, the Quest 2 is probably the best bang for your buck on the market. Can run PC VR if you'd like, can run the onboard stuff. If you're, I don't know, some immunocompromised ex streamer that's jonesing for the theater experience? Copy a movie over, throw that bitch on and simulate a movie theater on a space station. For $299, it isn't an impulse spend you'll regret

They want millennials who own multimillion dollar homes/apartments who have nothing better to do than rubber stamp the new banner ad on their website. It's for people who are so disconnected from reality they're desperate for anything new or novel. This thing doesn't do anything practical. It's an extremely overpriced toy for rich kids.
