I finished Picard season 3 last night. It wasn't flawless, but it was a huge improvement on s02.It mostly carried on from the end of s01 as if the events of s02 never happened, a good thing, since s02 was eminently forgettable. Wasting its time travel premise on a bunch of boring, navel-gazing, instead of using it - as did The Voyage Home - to put familiar characters in a challenging situation and make a larger point about the hubris of techno-accelerationism.#StarTrek #Picard

@strypey I found Picard insulting to me as a TNG fan. Painstakingly watched some episodes, became disgusted. Never went back.

@SmrkiYMMV but I found the destination of s01 was worth the journey. TBH I'd suggest skipping s02 entirely. In fact, you could probably just watch s03 as a standalone, without bothering with the first 2 seasons. There's very few story arc points that cross between the seasons.

@strypey Sounds like a good advice. I might give it a try. I just wanted to see captain Picard and the Enterprise once more. Instead I got an elf like ninja in the first season.
