       So I'm driving around listening to the Thursday #noagenda show, and I'm reminded how awesome Podcasting2.0 is.During the donation segment, as the gents discuss the art I can look down at the car entertainment screen and see the art they're discussing in real time.Really brings a new level of engagement and entertainment to listening into the show.(Using Fountain app, loving it too)@adam @dave

       @NBS @adam @dave I wholeheartedly agree that Podcasting 2.0 is both fantastic and a necessary thing for our world.However, this particular functionality of tying images to chapters is something Apple pioneered (and the industry adopted) over a decade ago with the “other” chapters implementation, right?Or am I missing something?Because we’ve had chapters (with optional artwork) on @macgeekgab for almost all of our 18 years of the show.

       @DaveHamilton We don’t claim chapters are new. What is new is the ability to crowdsource or outsource their creation because  they are cloud based. When you don’t have to touch the audio file, it opens up lots of cool use cases. For instance we give @Drebscott  a v4v split on our show and he publishes our chapters after we publish the audio. That’s the innovation part.

       @dave @Drebscott Oh, 100% agreed! I wasn’t challenging the benefits. Just making sure I wasn’t missing something about the net effect to the listener.And yeah, when we started chapterizing, it was being done by a listener, similar to what you describe. But I had to give him the finished audio file and *then* wait a day (or three) while he finished the work and posted it.And that meant all of our listeners had to wait to even listen.Your implementation solves that and then some! 🙌
