@burner @gabriel according to tesseract, it says:> r/antiwork> RambleOn79 - 1y> Whatever happened to cubicles?> Growing up in the 80's, I used to think a cubicle would> be a miserable place to be - but I gotta tell you, I miss> my cubicle. I could put up photos of my loved ones and> make it my own nook, eat my lunch without anyone> commenting on what I was eating, I could make weird> faces during online meetings in private and I could do> fuck all for a few minutes and nobody would see me or> my computer screen.> Now I’m stuck in open space with zero privacy, and the> overlords have recently decided a fun concept where> we have to fight for our desks every morning. They've> unassigned desks & crammed all of our few belongings> into tiny lockers like high school. Of course the> overlords have their own offices, or are never in the> office because they are traveling.> What is the fucking point of this? Is this a kind of cruel> experiment? Countless studies have proven that open> space not only decreases productivity, but is bad for> morale and mental health.> Rant over ... how do you feel about this?

@pwm@crlf.ninja @gabriel@mk.gabe.rocks Thanks! It is weird that his images aren't loading on my end though, because every other instance's images load.I'll have to look into it.

@burner @gabriel It came through okay for me. You're on a misskey instance, yes? dunno if they have a mediaproxy equivalent that could be fucking up.

@gabriel @burner I meant frennet (which is also misskey iirc). Maybe your object storage provider isn't serving requests to his IP

@emma @gabriel @burner Depending on the administration of the place where the image is, some known vpn ASN's could be blocked en masse to stop abuse from coming from there, much like many things like that will also block tor nodes

@emma @gabriel @burner policies like that are pretty common (poast's cdn is clearly configured that way). That's partly why I reverse proxy and cache anything I can, so that stuff comes through no matter how I connect to my instance
