New Velvetyne type release! Jgs font by @adelfaure is both a tribute to ASCII art pioneer Joan G. Stark (a.k.a. jgs, Spunk) and a nice little typeface that's optimized to draw ASCII art.https://velvetyne.fr/fonts/jgs-font/

Jgs font is monospaced, pixel or vector based depending on the version, and its glyphs are drawn in certain ways that allow to better create different patterns and textures just by typing text. Its different versions are intended to design patterns at various display sizes (a bit like optical sizes, but for ASCII Art). Try Jgs font and start drawing now! https://velvetyne.fr/fonts/jgs-font/

@velvetyne I have a "humor" book from the late 1800s somewhere that has typewriter art in it.
