       Thinking about how much healthier my relationship with social media became after I just left Twitter and kept to mastodon.Like, I don’t just anxiously doom scroll, keep picking arguments online, and I don’t constantly refresh to see engagement on my posts. I just kinda engage with it here and there, and then walk away and live my life until I have something nice to post later. It’s so much nicer.

       Not to mention that I use mastodon filters to “auto-CW” things for me and that’s made it possible for me to be extremely selective about what I choose to be exposed to at any given time, without feeling like I’m completely missing conversations when they happen.
