       Which animals sit? Cats and dogs, obviously. Horses definitely do not. What other sitters are there? Ducks?

       @mansr Horses sit. I've seen them do it. They don't do it often, but they DO sit.Hamsters sit.Snakes do not.Armadillos curl up into a ball - maybe that's their version of sitting?Cows don't sit, except when they're getting up from lying down.  (this includes bulls, too.. Using "cow" in the general sense to describe the species, like we use "mankind").Monkeys and apes definitely sit.I've seen a koala sit before.Spiders don't, nor do shrimp, crabs, or lobsters.Paramecia do not sit.
