@stux Wowza... My first CAR (mind, this is in circa 1985 US Dollars) cost $800 and lasted me until college/university.But, then again, Europe has a better healthcare system than we do here, so I guess we pay for it one way or another.

@mansr There might be a Language barrier here, so I'll clarify the joke.The word "Vacation" and the word "Vaccination" are "close". This meme is intended to catch anti-vaxxers who aren't paying attention unawares and watch them explode.It is, literally, a shitpost which started re-circulating when COVID hit.I posted this on FB years ago and all my anti-vaxxer friends (yes, they're still friends - I don't condemn them for their choices...) except two literally went on rants about how vaccinations are going to kill us, etc. That said, I think Europe has got some things right when it comes to work/life balance, and I wish some of those policies existed here in the U.S. The issue is that we have, for generations, been conditioned to "Live to Work" instead of "Work to Live"

@mansr Because the pilot needs to ensure the pad is clear before attempting to land, and many times that's difficult to see out the front of the aircraft, so a spiral is made so the pilot can look out their side window to better see the landing site.

I need to look into re-learning #thermodynamics. #Motherboard says the #CPU #core #temps are around 10C higher than what the #heatsinks are (I built my own #sensor set for this machine - because I wanted to.)Granted, this is one of the old E5-2600v2 series #motherboards in the computer I'm typing on right now.. (different computer, not the server - waiting for #Amazon to deliver my new #frelling CPU coolers), an X9DRH-7TF by SuperMicro, so maybe that's #normal?Yeah, I know, WAY overkill for a #workstation, but it's also a #pull from a previous #server iteration, so...Yes, I'm #weird. I upgrade my #servers, then my #workstations get all the old #parts.

The people who do it are not worth your time.You're doing the right thing.. But you could put a note on each of their accounts regarding this, as a reminder of who is fully truthful, and who is not.
