       @freemo I think that we can afford to take care of people and the environment, all of which is investing in the future, and that the main issue is the Trumpian tax cuts.

       @Gaythia We could... IF we significantly cut our expenses, then yes we can have money left over to take care of things important to our future... But thats not the case, politicians want to spend spend spend on tons of wasteful things that dont support our future (like financial support for Israel and military spending as a whole)... So sure, by all means, invest in our future, but do it in a way that ensures we get our debt to 0 as we do it, which is also important for our future.
