How to drop Linux kernel cache/buffer on a server you don't own for a controlled test... Just allocate and write garbage to a huge region of memory. :woozy_baa: Apparently a common One Weird Trick in HPC.

@niconiconi you only need to write one byte per 4k page, save yourself the front side bus throughput of a memset
