@gabriel I’m thinking about hosting Misskey. One feature I’m concerned about is the drive. I know that Misskey allows you to change the upload limit for each file, which by default is 250 MiB. But the drive itself has a limit of 2 GB, and since you run a Misskey instance, is the drive limit changeable? Also, I know you might not trust Calckey, but what do you think of FoundKey?

@james@pleroma.jamesp.org you can bump up the drive capacity for all users at /admin/roles/ by updating the number on the role template (I haven't bothered with roles yet)Don't know anything about foundkey and haven't looked into it.

@gabriel That’s great! I will probably use Misskey to upload big files. Now that I know I can increase the limit I may upload files more often. And since deleting a file also deletes posts associated with them, I’ve got a few plans...

@gabriel Also, another question. How are instances moderated on Misskey? I know that Pleroma has MRF, which allows for highly-customizable moderation of instances. With Misskey, all I could see was that you could block or suspend an instance. Also I could see unlisted posts in hashtags last I remember, so it looks like I might not be removing instances from the federated timeline.

@james@pleroma.jamesp.org How are instances moderated on Misskey? That's not perfectly clear to me either tbh. I'm not sure what suspend even does. If Misskey has an MRF equivalent I'm not aware of it.I think roles can be applied to remote users and that could be played with...but I haven't gotten into that.

@gabriel Just to clarify, Suspend means to not send traffic. So you can not only reject content, you can prevent your content from being sent. Maybe you can quietly lurk and people don’t know what you’re saying.
