       I know #Obsidian has templates but I love that markdown works from #TextExpander snippets - just easier for me and I now have a lovely monthly report template I can connect to all the things I have in #Obsidian to create a nice interlinked record of my work (inspired by @jasondowns daily note with links)

       @StephZihms @jasondowns Obsidian templates are useful when combined with plugins like templater, otherwise just using a text expander is easier. I use Alfred for snippets, words, simple blocks etc, templater for things that need brains, like dates or queries.Having markdown as base of everything makes it easy to pick and choose our own workflows. #ObsidianMD is really an app you can spend a lot of time in :-)
