@classierbitch Around 8 or 9. It depends more on when I go to bed, I sleep about 9h per night, give or take a bit. So if I were to go to bed at ten in the evening, I’d wake up around 7.

@Gnomeshatecheese @classierbitch 9 hours. Of actual sleep. I can't imagine. Also the sleep making you not tired. Seems like fairy stories.

@FeartnTired @classierbitch 9+ actually on many nights. I’ve always needed a lot of sleep, plus I tend to naturally stay up long, unless I’m physically tired. I’m fairly certain my circadian rhythm is longer than 24h. It’s not always convenient.

@classierbitch How do you feel when you wake up? And how many hours have you slept by then?I wake between 6 and 7 during the week naturally and 9 times out of 10 feel pretty rested. During winter it's usually between 7.30-8.30. About 7/8 hours of sleep for me. During winter usually 8/9. Currently there are a bunch of terrorist that have moved into the street and I wake up groggy at around 4.30/5 o'clock, but often I can fall back to sleep for a bit. Loud, noisy bastards. I think there house sparrows, there are a ton throughout the neighborhood. Don't remember the last time we had so many, but still better than the Jackdaws we had years ago, that kept me up all through the night. Worst part, I live in a concrete hellhole, city center. Why are they even here. :grr:

@classierbitch Plenty of cultures where taking a nap somewhere during the day is normal. It used to be normal in the west as well. Than capitalism told us it was a sign of weakness. You could call it a “power break” if you wanna make it sound cool and tough. 😎. Either way, if there’s room for a nap, give into it, I’d say. It’s healthy and natural.

@classierbitch Last Saturday I slept until 3 PM because I was having an interesting dream and wanted to know where it was going. But on normal days it's anywhere between 5:30 and 7:45 AM.

@classierbitch I'm usually up around 6:30 for work but this morning it was 5:30 because my upstairs neighbours don't feel any need to be quiet if they're up.

@LadyMont I embraced my afternoon nap years ago, we used to sleep in two shifts too before the industrial revolution

@classierbitch Between 4:30 and 5:30. Love to see the sunrise, hear the birds, before the tsunami of city noises.

@classierbitch One of the good things about getting up that early is if you like to go for walks, take pictures of wildlife, or go camping. I’m about to go camping near mid-June, and it’s a 6-hour drive. I don’t drive, mind you, but it’s quite handy to get there early. When I was a teen, I used to get up the latest I could get away with. Something changed, can’t remember when, but I saw that it was a good thing. I simply go to bed earlier than I used to and everything is fine.
