       @karolherbst @serebit the situation is cemented by the two-party system. In the proportional system, people can go for a third or fourth option and vote them out. The two-party system is like "hey voters, we're all you have, deal with it".

       @karolherbst @sesivany @serebit The Democratic Party is the party of fascism in the U.S., or at any rate the party of statism. If anything, it's the Republicans who are always dragged in the wake of more and more liberal fascism. Bake The Cake and Respect My Pronouns OR ELSE. The only area where Republicans were able to undo and reverse the fascism of Democracts is gun rights. But hey, the bash-the-fash narrative isn't going to reproduce itself, is it now.
