       @boilingsteam I think it basically has to support HDR on linux, since the Deck already does (on main, anyway). The screen part is up in the air, but I wager they'll go OLED.

       @boilingsteamKDE has been doing some work for HDR support this past week: https://pointieststick.com/2023/05/20/this-week-in-kde-preliminary-hdr-support/Doesn't really mean much for Valve's hardware, I guess, but they'll very likely be ready, if HDR support is included in a future Steam Deck. 🙃

       @boilingsteamIt's obviously going to *support* it, as for if it will use an HDR screen I could see it either way, HDR can be quite the battery hog and I could understand not wanting it draining the battery all the time

       @boilingsteam hoping for a HDR replacement screen for the first steam deck when HDR support exist in linux. But I'm probably hoping for to much, maybe aftermarket screen.
