       Hey Christians that follow the teachings of Christ and see the hypocrisy of the right wing persecution of anyone they feel like persecuting. I wonder what it is like for you to live in communities that are so full of vitriol. How do you combat false-beliefs in your day to day life?I imagine you have some good suggestions for the rest of us.

       @ConsoleWitch Honestly usually I just roll my eyes and then complain about it with my wife. Sometimes I’ll counter someone I’m close with, but I choose to minimize how much I associate with people whose religious views are determined by their political views. I feel like if you’re religious, it should be the other way around.

       @ConsoleWitch Thanks! I don’t claim to be perfect, but my main religious focuses are 1) worry about my standing with God not other peoples’ and 2) help/treat other people how I think Christ would have helped/treated them, which is to say liberally and without regard for where they stand relative to my religious viewpoint.
