I made a joke at work about shipping a fridge sized piece of aerogel which got me thinking about it. I calculated how much that should approximately weigh if it exists. Using a Whirlpool 24.5-cu ft 4-Door French Door Refrigerator, I calculated the total volume in cubic inches is approx 86.5K (which sounds high, but it's just LxWxH). Aqua-Calc has a volume to weight converter for Aerogel which is pretty nifty and tells us that if you had a fridge sized piece of aerogel, it would weigh 4.69lbs

Weight wouldn't be the issue, but something of that size would still likely need to be shipped via freight.
