       @eevee yes but at least now it can view text files up to several megabytes in size, a feat computers were literally incapable of until this moment

       @eevee god what was wrong with just putting text on a webpage normally. like is this not the easiest thing to do properly. displaying text on a page was the whole reason we made all this webby stuff in the first place!(i mean i know the answer to my first question unfortunately, it’s that functional and stable standards are at odds with the constant change needed to pretend there’s constant growth, but it’s a shitty answer)

       @eevee oh god wait if it’s lazy‐loaded does that mean you can’t use the browser’s search function for finding text in the file reliably because it can only search the loaded text that’s displayed on‐screen?? because i absolutely despise that shit
