I added a handful of relay servers to my fedi instance. Perhaps a few too many since my server has mysteriously locked up twice since then. Like, the whole thing, not just the service running on it. I've trimmed the list back down to two so we'll see how that goes. This server runs entirely too much of the infrastructure of my life for it to disappear multiple times a day.

@aj exactly why I don't host my own instance. Amongst other reasons. Hope you can find a happy medium that works for you.

@aj 🤣🤣About a month ago, work was my excuse to put together a second server. All for under $100/€100 thanks to eBay. Well and the 2tb SSD I had sitting in a drawer. 😅 Could have probably made it work on the existing one, but this was fun!

@redandgreen@sunbeam.city I was still having problems. I've dropped down to a single relay now and I also adjusted down some of the works and limiters in the config. I think they are back to default now because I'm pretty sure I'd cranked them up during the initial setup. So far, that seems to be keeping it stable without negatively impacting performance. Wish me continued luck, lol.

@aj I hope it stabilizes for you. Did you end up finding another app to use since tusky didn't work? Or just using it in a browser for now?
