       mastodon.social needs to step up the registration process, the amount of spam coming from there is way to much..I would instantly silence .social if it was'nt for the fact that this instance has a couple of thousands active users

       @selea I think limiting but not suspending is generally a good idea, it doesn't stop people from following accounts on mastodon.social but it does prevent unsolicited messages from getting through.

       @selea I’ve silenced it since last spam wave and keeping it so for now. Let’s see in some weeks how they deal with it.
