       @Rasp is it microwave only or also oven? Heating demands most power by far. Microwave significantly less, as I understand it.

       @Rasp 12 is usually rated for 20amp, so it should be fine, most countertop appliances are rated for 15a anyway, cause that's what the breaker probably is. (And yeah, the wire inside the thing is probably some cheap aluminum 15ga, just to be at an odd size)
