       The kid was watching #NRK :nrk: Super this morning and this music video came on called ‘Til Dovre faller’Sure was a wake up call. Very #17Mai. I’ve very mixed feelings when it comes to National pride stuff. The UK probably has way more to apologise for than be proud over, so to see such displays of #patriotism are confusing.        @matt As a Norwegian, I am super biased here, but I sure love 17. Mai :)My feeling is that it is a very inclusive celebration, as it is arranged in large part around the schools. I love seeing happy kids of all colors, side by side with their classmates, all dressed up in traditional Norwegian clothing, waving the flag. Culturally, the importance of the day is hard to overstate. The love for our royals reach back, at least, to WW2 when the broadcasts from London kept hope alive.
