@liaizon yesterday(?) I listed the features I need for distributed economic networks:1. ability to cheaply and easily spin up new nodes in an economic network,, or2. the ability for a new node to start a new economic network, , and 2. the new nodes need the ability (but not the requirement) to communicate and coordinate with other nodes in their and possibly other networks.AP will provide those possibilities. Don't know about AT.

@bhaugen define cheaply and easily. Those are very vague concepts. I am not pushing AT, and think it is honestly way to early to say much about what AT is good for other then recreating old twitter (which I am not that interested in) Maybe @p2panda and @staltz have thoughts about where their respective protocols fit in to that need.

@liaizon it's not really decentralized until the placeholder identity server is removed. the have said they want to replace it in a few years with an unknown thing. people I know who are keen on researching AT are suggesting to me that it will probably just quietly never get replaced.I've mostly lost interest. Also the bsky server turned less fun really quick with twitter culture stuff :-(
