       I don’t know which Mastodon client uses ntfy.sh for notifications, but it’s returning a load of 429 (rate limited) and 507 (another version of rate limited) errors. Those users aren’t getting updates and won’t know why. 😕

       @tek Might be android clients (e.g. fedilab, tusky) using a de-googled notification service (aka probably a me problem). Lemme get back to you on that, though I don't think I've had any issues? ntfy.sh is the default server for notifications of the same named push notification service.

       @tek I'm pretty sure Tusky is one of them...

       @noahcarver @edd I think you’re both right about Tusky.

       @tek @noahcarver Looking at my config, I had ntfy setup for both Tusky and Fedilab, so 2x hits from me. iirc it was suggested to use ntfy by Tusky and/or Fedilab to get push notis which is why I tried it out and promptly forgot because it was Just Working :tm:

       @edd @tek Yep, Tusky recommends you use that in their FAQ.

       @noahcarver @edd Huh, interesting! FWIW, the failures don’t cause problems here. I only notice such things when I rarely peek at the Sidekiq dead jobs queue to see what’s failing.
