       I know there are dozens of bills targeting #trans and #LGBTQIA+ folks in the #TXlege right now, but I'm focused on this dress code issue for a few reasons:—less people reporting on it than the lege bills (before we broke the story)—It harkens back to sumptuary regulations where #police would raid #queer establishments and beat & arrest people not wearing "enough" clothing that matched the gender identity cops assigned to them.
