So this company is pure shit now right? I've been waiting over a year for a thing I ordered and it's still nowhere in sight. On top of that the physical store they have seems to actually stock shit that they haven't even shipped out to online buyers from what I've seen posted on Twitter by numerous pissed off customers and their selection since being bought out by Embracer has completely tanked. @VBurner That's some really scummy shit. The concept of the business is great; physical copies of discontinued, unavailable, or digital only games with some retro shit sprinkled in. It seems like the sort of thing that would do really well if they just fulfilled their obligations in a timely manner and didn't try and do artificial scarcity shit. @RyokoPilled @VBurner Strangely enough it seems like Konami is trying to babystep its way back into gaming. They did the Turtles collection recently (acting as publisher) which was well received, they have an upcoming Suidoken collection of the first two titles coming, the MGS 3 remake (no clue how this will turn out), and Silent Hill stuff. Maybe the pachinko money is drying up lol.

It was started to save their sinking company after none of their games took off. It's as if the triple A sector just realised that nobody will ever like their new products as much as the stuff that was made during the era where the people who worked on their games didn't have the creativity beaten out of them. If a game like Katamari Damacy came out today, it would be made by a passionate team of developers who starved themselves to make it, because triple A publishers have become no different from Hollywood production companies. They find something that works and keep at it until it's not profitable anymore.

@Jim I'm a dirty pirate but I was waiting for their release of Castlevania Rondo of Blood on the TurboGrafx16. Sure, I can play the mod with the PSP audio that's out but my old-weeb ass almost always preferred the original Japanese voice acting. I don't remember if they promised subtitles. I believe SOTN is in that release. Jeez, you people that pre-ordered it have been waiting almost two years. About SOTN, I was really pissed off with the PSP port. They changed the nostalgic shitty dialogue. If that PS4 release is that, then I'll stick to the original PS1 version on emulators. I can use a fancy pants CRT shader too with Retroarch.
