its interesting. The reaction I get from healthcare workers when im wearing my elastomeric mask and they have none is one of either surprise or shame.Surprise means theyre uninformed about post-viral illness, cognitive impairment in 10-30% of COVID incidences, and limited duration of immunity to covid.Shame, when they know I know theyre harming their patients and family and thus are Unethical providers (and legitimately depraved people tbh). #COVID19 #CovidIsNotOver #COVIDisAirborne

if youre asking whether i consider unmasked healthcare workers on the level of Unit 731 doctors/scientists, or Something similar, the answer is: no. ive no evidence Unit 731 ever acted as invasive vectors toward their own family.(a bit glib and tongue in cheek, but tis the only way to cope with human anti-society).

@otsoClose to correct and yet completely misses the point. The solution to the inadequacy of surgical masks to prevent infection from an airborne virus isn't "no masks", it's proper N95 rated masks which are effective, not exclusively to but especially in high risk medical settings.@hannu_ikonen

@mnemonicoverload @hannu_ikonen I got my information from a couple of Swedish doctors, the science about masks differs here from that in USA. this is what I read: ...The filter size of a surgical mask is about 15,000-30,000 nanometers (nm), or one billionth of a meter, while a coronavirus is in the order of 60-130 nm. So the actual holes in the mask, or the distance between the fibers, are 1,000 times larger than the virus particle itself! ...Of course, the virus particles do bind to dust grains and also to small water droplets, but even these are much smaller (1,000 - 5,000 nm) than the filter size of the mask. Those are all completely valid criticisms of surgical masks. They are not designed nor certified for protections from airborne viruses. N-95s work on a completely different different principle and actually do provide effective protection. Covid is an airborne virus and requires airborne virus countermeasures. The only masks we *should* be talking about in regards to covid are N-95 rated (or better). Talking about surgical masks in regards to covid makes no sense unless you're a time traveller from the first half of 2020.
