       I'm taking a break from writing today to brew a Munich-style Dunkel. Now that I have a brewing pipeline going again, I have to maintain it. This lager will probably take two months before I serve it, so I'm getting it started now.#brewing #beer

       @kyle Dunkel is a personal fave! I don't see a lot of them around, but KC Bier Co makes a good one here in KC.

       @brian_kephart This is a big reason I homebrew. These traditional German styles are hard to find out here in IPA country. I tend to brew either styles that are hard to find locally, or if I brew something basic like a Pale, it's because I'm looking at what craft brewers are charging these days for average beer and realize mine is as good or better.

       @kyle Yeah, I'm glad that IPAs are on the wane here. They used to be at least half the beer list everywhere you went.Home brewing sounds fun. I like to mix things up frequently, though, so working my way through an entire batch seems like a chore, which is a terrible thing to say about beer. 😂
