       Did you know you could use Mastodon as a comment platforms on your blog? I blogged about this 2 years ago https://carlschwan.eu/2020/12/29/adding-comments-to-your-static-blog-with-mastodon/ but since there has been a lot of newcomers recently, it might be a good idea to share it again 😜

       @carlschwan Some slight wishes for this implementation, I wish commenting could be placed inline, that might make commenting more convenient.This is very cool either way!

       @realcaseyrollins yeah it's not perfect. The other alternative would to add a button so that people can login with their account and do all the authentication dance, but this is quite scary to do as it would mean I need to trust the random blog to just send one reply and don't do anything else with my account.

       @karmanyaahm @carlschwan I like this.But I think I don't quite get how this works Is it just code for a ( #static ) #website , or does it #require the #admin to mode the #instance too ?If the latter, that would be sad, as that would greatly impact the utility
