       🧚 The #forest in #Germany can seem like fairy wood to me. In disparate areas I've encountered elements that deeply resonate, reminding me of illustrated books by the Brothers Grimm, and others from my childhood. (I wonder too about ancestral memories. The woods here feel *familiar.*)🥾 Many of Germany's #hiking paths have been beaten down by centuries, if not millennia, of footfalls.
