@thomasfuchs yet there is no word for “happy” and just one word for beautiful, pretty, lovely, nice, gorgeous, stunning, appealing, etc

@thomasfuchs ppl trying to convince me there’s a word for “happy” by using a lot of words which mean different things, chief among them glücklich (literally means “lucky”) and froh/freude variations (joyful and happy are NOT the same)

Well, the German word "glücklich" means happy. "Lucky" is translated with "Glück haben". At least that's how I use this language.

@heluecht @amyhoy @thomasfuchs To be absolutely clear and consistent in translation here, "be lucky" is what translates to "Glück haben". The word "lucky" in isolation doesn't have a translation.
