@fonecokid Given Trump is just an attention seeker, what would happen if people STOPPED talking about him, unless something positive happens such as he is actually charged with a crime or has to attend court.Less is more effective in some cases.

@zleap Sadly the mainstream media is always eager to serve that traitor and spread his lies. Yesterday in #Portugal, our prime minister said, about a stupid protest from the extreme right wing party #chega, during the carnation revolution 49th anniversary, on the parliament , directly to a reporter from our equivalent of Fox news, when asked if he felt guilty for the protest, that it was the mainstream media time given to that party, much higher then what they represent in voters numbers, that was the reason for their rise and if any should feel guilty was those who give them more media time then they real deserve.

@fonecokid Mainstream media are more interested in headlines, the commerical media need people to watch, so they also are fed adverts that generates income.

@zleap @RenewedRebecca Hello!Compared with other countries in the EU, CHEGA has little support in Portugal. But, it has been steadily growing ever since being created in 2018 (if memory serves me right [pun not intended]). I think it's a matter of time until they reach the EU average, but we'll see.
