@ChrisMayLA6 How about we move the barge to Westminster, given MPs need somewhere to stay while they are out of their constituencies they can live on the barge.If the Barge is good enough for Migrants, then it is good enough for MPs.

@itnewsbot I appreciate the bible in some circles is treated with some sceptical views, but some of the bible stories such as David and Goliath spring to mind here, you can take on big tech and win.

@itnewsbot As a note i tried to read the article, first I had a accept cookie box pop up, then I had another box come up saiyng how I can subscribe to wired. I closed the window, I just want to read things.However as I don't actually read on a regular basis I may only learn about an article if they are posted here. So usage would be very very occasional.

@selea I fully agree, we need alternatives that are fully funded, protected against patent or other such litigation so we can use them freely but also need to fund all of this.

@freemo @georgetakei I feel British politics is not much better sometimes. However statements such as this could rather insulting to babies & children who attend kindsgarten / pre school / school, they generally behave a lot better.

@freemo @georgetakei What our speaker needs is a supply of old fashioned black board rubbers (erasers), so he can thrown them at the MPs who jeer and interupt people when speaking, unfortuantly for them, they are the ones who sit well within the distance to be clouted pretty hard.It would save his voice as he keeps having to remind MPs to let people speak so they can get through all the questions.

@freemo There was a post on LinkedIn ages ago about school behaviour, I replied and suggeted students should watch Prime Ministers Questions (PMQ) and follow the example set my MPs... I then put however that would it would turn them in to a total rabble.Saying that I think school students SHOULD be allowed to watch these things as it would be a good indication on how politics works, only it is currently just embarrasing how the MPs behave.Same goes for watching the ending of trials on TV and the just giving closing remarks / sentancing. Would be good for anyone at school wanting to go in to various public services (such as the police) to see how the judicial system works.May help people connect better with the system, which is never going to be a bad thing.
