@penguin42 didn't get the alerts on Three with OnePlus phones. It isn't the phone that's the problem as I got emergency alerts while in the USA at new year

@penguin42 missing the options, disabled alerts as per instructions and did or didn't get alerts.

@penguin42 I turned off emergency alerts on the only device that a) had a SIMM in it, and b) Is 4G. So, no I, intentionally, didn't get the alert, and will never get any future such alerts. Call me weird (:*

@penguin42 I got the alert, hubby didn’t. Phones are similar (his is more recent & more upmarket) & we are on the same network.

@SurrealSeal Interesting; Tesco is supposedly O2 based. Not sure about TalkTalk https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_United_Kingdom_mobile_virtual_network_operators

Nice! This poll got 83 responses, not bad! 1/3 not getting the alert but expecting to is the problem I guess - and not all of those are Three users.

@penguin42 the high failure rate nicely justifies having run this big test to figure out what might go wrong

@berrange Yep; it does suggest something else is going on other than 3; I'm wondering if one issue is phones switching between 3 and 4G.
