       So is there any reason I shouldn't file my US taxes months early every year? I filed in like, January. It was my first time filing taxes ever, but it seems like filing early just gives me extra time to catch errors with no downsides?

       Some banks and retirement accounts don't send forms until feb, but yea, once you get everything, just get it over with.
