@lauren Can I opt for the comparatively sweet embrace of death over any of those? The Borg strikes me as those worse because it would involve sharing a group mind with all of the others and their supporters, and I was really struggling to find which of the remaining three was the least unspeakable.

@lauren the Borg have proven time and time again to be extremely rational.I always argued that they should assimilate somebody with the idea that VOLUNTARY assimilation should be encouraged by the collective, as a win-win scenario between the Borg and the rest of the galaxy.A total and unironic vote for the Borg here.
