       Does anyone else still use a pen and paper to plan their day/write their to-do list?It’s been 15+ years since I last used a to-do app and I sometimes wonder if it would be a better way to archive my lists, rather than misplacing or throwing bits of paper out. But there’s so many to choose from nowadays 🤯I see Things still comes out well in the best #productivity apps list. Anyone here use it or recommend another? I would prefer an upfront cost, don’t want to go subscription route.

       Thanks everyone for the replies to this.I went for @things It comes highly recommended and is one of the lesser complicated apps of its kind I’ve used - beautiful UI too. I’ll still be using pen and paper, especially as I’m an on-the-phone doodler

       @purplelime I flip flop between @things and Todoist. I find Todoist the easiest to get stuff into with all its extensions but shortcuts wise Things is brilliant.

       @purplelime @Phil Thanks! Hadn’t seen that. I had Things as my todo app for many years before I moved over to OmniFocus. But there is something with the aesthetics of Things, so still keeping an eye on how it develops. :)
